Questo ex monastero fu occupato nel 1903 da suore trappiste francesi. Esse chiamarono la casa Notre Dame du Perpetual Secours (Nostra Signora dell'assistenza perpetua). Nel 1912 le suore partirono di nuovo per la Francia. Durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale, vi risiedevano novizi dei Padri dei Santi Cuori, fuggiti dal Belgio. Successivamente, l'edificio passò nelle mani del produttore Van den Bergh, che lo ribattezzò De Rendierhoeve.
