Il campo di sterminio di Treblinka fu uno dei principali campi di sterminio del regime nazista durante l'Olocausto. I due campi di Treblinka si trovano nel territorio del Comune di Kosów Lacki. Dopo Bełżec e Sobibór, fu l'ultimo dei tre campi di sterminio aperti nel 1942 nell'est della Polonia occupata a entrare in funzione, nel luglio 1942, al fine di attuare l'Operazione Reinhard , nome in codice dato dai nazisti al progetto di sterminio degli ebrei in Polonia. Il campo di Treblinka è tristemente noto, nei rapporti fatti dai pochi sopravvissuti, per lo sterminio perpetrato con balorda violenza ed insolita ferocia sulle vittime.
