Broadway theatre, comunemente detta semplicemente Broadway, è la porzione dell'omonima avenue di Manhattan che ospita, anche sulle strade adiacenti, oltre 40 teatri, con sale da almeno 500 posti, nel Theatre District di New York, più un teatro al Lincoln Center, il Metropolitan Opera House, nell'Upper West Side. Assieme alla zona del West End londinese, Broadway theatre indica, per antonomasia, la maggiore concentrazione di teatri di lingua inglese, e non solo, al mondo.
Il distretto dei teatri di Broadway è una delle attrazioni popolari di New York. Secondo la The Broadway League, gli show di Broadway hanno incassato circa 937 milioni di dollari nella stagione 2007-2008.
