Het kasteel Helfenberg, tegenwoordig ook wel kasteel Revertera genoemd, is een kasteelcomplex in Opper-Oostenrijk en ligt boven het dorp Helfenberg in het Mühlviertel. Het kasteel werd rond 1250 als burcht gebouwd, rond 1607 vond de nieuwbouw plaats en tegenwoordig is het kasteel in particulier bezit.
In 1224 wordt in een oorkonde van het klooster Hohenfurt, heden Tsjechië, een Wirint de Helfenberch genoemd als eigenaar van de verdedigingsconstructie Helfenberg. Het voorlopergebouw van het huidige kasteel is vermoedelijk als burcht pas rond 1250 gebouwd en in 1270 uitgebreid. Naar verluidt is het oorlogsmonument van Helfenberg op de ondergrond van deze burcht opgericht.
