Description by the author

Op 23 augustus 2014 wandelden we in de regen vanaf de parking langs de afslag naar Hintermoos op de Hochkönig Strasse naar de Eggeralm. Er waren verder geen toeristen, we mochten aanschuiven in het privé vertrek van de alm en ons opwarmen aan de houtkachel.

Urige gemütliche Almhütte, 270 Jahre alt, mit Milchviehbetrieb. Die Produkte werden vorwiegend selbst erzeugt und den Gästen liebevoll aufgetischt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Genießen Sie den herrlichen Ausblick auf die höhere Almregion mit „Hundstein“ sowie einen großen Teil der Bergkette „Steinernes Meer“.
