Brunehaut is een gemeente in de Belgische provincie Henegouwen. De gemeente telt ruim 8.000 inwoners. Brunehaut ligt ten zuiden van de stad Doornik, tegen de Franse grens. Door de gemeente stroomt de Schelde België binnen.
Brunehaut is een van de weinige gemeenten in België die haar naam niet aan een bestaande plaats, maar aan de chaussée Brunehaut, de Romeinse heerweg van Kamerijk naar Doornik die de gemeente doorkruist, heeft ontleend.
