Gebouwd naar ontwerp van Léon Stynen van 1931, bouwtoelating van 1933, voltooid in 1934, eerste vermelding Prijs Van de Ven 1936. Flatgebouw met luxe-appartementen voorzien van winkels en restaurant op de benedenverdieping, in navolging van Le Corbusier opgericht als een kleinschalige wooneenheid in een groene omgeving op betrekkelijk korte afstand van de stad.
