Het Hazekasteel is nog een oud volkscafé. Maria is al de derde generatie die dit café uitbaat. Ze staat er al meer dan 40 jaar.
Het café is ook gekend voor zijn specialiteit van het huis, de huisgemaakte picon. Zelfs Jeroen Meus van Dagelijke Kost kwam in 2012 eens langs bij Maria om die picon te proeven! Naast de lekkere picon kan je ook genieten van een partijtje biljart.
