Croix Ferdinand of 'Creux da Ferdianand' zoals het vermeld is een houten kruis van zo'n 3 meter hoog.
Aan de staanbalk hangt een driehoekige nis met een mariabeeld.
Het werd destijds ontworpen door Ferdinand Legros.
Het staat op een kruispunt in het Bois de la Borzeu aan de oude weg van Luik naar Stavelot en verder naar Luxemburg, een belangrijke weg in de 18de en 19de eeuw. De weg bereikt hier zijn hoogste punt - ongeveer 500m - tussen het dal van de Roannay en het dal van de Amblève.
