De St.Michielsberg, Koudenberg, Warmoesberg, Kruidtuin, Kunstberg, de Zavel en St.Pietersberg.
Er waren eveneens 7 poorten in de 12de eeuw en 7 straten die naar deze poorten leidden:
St.Katelijnepoort, Zwarte Poort, Sint-Goedele, Koudenberg, Sint-Jacobs, Warmoespoort, Steenpoort.
Ook rond de Grote Markt komen er 7 straten toe. En er waren 7 patriciersfamilies met 7 schepenzetels. Het getal 7 is ook gebonden aan de alchemie, aangezien er 7 stappen zijn om tot de Steen der Wijzen te komen.
