De rijke geschiedenis van het stadje Zoutleeuw zal je verbazen tijdens deze wandeling. Al meteen bij je vertrek op de Grote Marke waan je je in de middeleeuwen, met monumenten als de gotische Sint-Leonarduskerk, het eeuwenoude stadhuis en het Spiegelhuis als de oudste woning van het plein. De geklasseerde kasseien van de Koepoortstraat brengen je naar de volle natuur van de Kleine Gete en de Dormaalbeek. Hou halt aan de vierkante Bethaniakapel uit 1659, destijds gebouwd door het lang verdwenen Bethaniaklooster.
