Het is zo’n vredevol en typisch Vlaams oerbeeld, de knotwilgen aan een rand van beekje die de weide afbakenen. Zulke taferelen vind je bij de vleet op deze prachtige natuurwandeling in de omgeving van Sint-Katherina-Lombeek. Je komt voorbij kapelletjes en hoeves en hier en daar stoot je op een mooi vergezicht op het Pajottenland. Even duik je het jonge Hertigembos in, dat samen met het Liedekerkebos een bosgebied van 200 hectare groot vormt.
