Kort maar krachtig, die Kordaalwandelroute: zes kilometer stappen langs de kastelen van Nokere (Kruishoutem). We wandelen door natuurreservaat Het Kordaalbos en komen langs de prachtige kastelen de Bonneval en Casier, beide met een schitterend kasteelpark inclusief vijver en omwalling. Het dorpspleintje van Nokere is een pareltje. De steile kasseiweg die er naartoe leidt, staat bekend als Nokere Berg. Niet zomaar een helling, want volgens geologen is dit de officiële scheiding tussen Laag- en Midden-België. Het is maar dat u het weet als u nog eens het wegenbulletin hoort.
