Door werken langs de A11 is het MTB-traject van de rode lus (en de blauwe lus van Knokke-Heist/Westkapelle) tussen de haven van Zeebrugge en het Schipdonkkanaal tijdelijk minder makkelijk toegankelijk. Er is doorgang mogelijk, maar wees voorzichting voor het werfverkeer en pas indien nodig je snelheid aan.

Het is ook mogelijk om de werken te mijden en langs de overkant van de 2 kanalen te rijden op de Vaartdijk
