Ten westen van het beroemde Hellend Vlak van Ronquières ligt een bosstrook dat een restant is van het oude kolenwoud dat aansluiting had met het Zoniënwoud: Bois de la Houssière of Le Grand Bois. Deze wandeling neemt je mee door dat prachtige beukenbos. Deels loopt de wandeling over een oude tramlijn die door het bos werd aangelegd.
