Deze prachtige boswandeling heeft ook nog een historische link. De wandeling brengt je naar de bron waar ooit Keizer Karel zijn dorst zou geletst hebben. En dan laat de wandeling je nog even proeven hoe dicht het prachtige Zonieënwoud bij de stad ligt. Je loopt even door enkele drukke straten om dan via tal van rustige parken terug het eeuwenoude oerbos in te duiken terug naar je startplaats.
