Het Mercedes-museum op het fabrieksterrein in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim trekt jaarlijks honderdduizenden bezoekers. Een must om te zien voordat de nieuwbouw in 2006 open gaat. Vanuit alle richtingen in Stuttgart de borden met het voetbalsymbool volgen naar het 'Gottlieb Daimler Stadion'. Via de Mercedesstrasse naar de ingang.
In 2008 is in Stuttgart het modernste automobielmuseum ter wereld geopend. Het maakt deel uit van de nieuwe Mercedes-Benz Welt. In het 47 meter hoge museum van twee etages worden van boven naar beneden zo'n 180 personen-, vracht-, race- en recordauto's gepresenteerd op een zodanige manier dat de Mercedes-mythe op z'n voordeligst uitkomt.
