Worms) is een stad in Rijnland-Palts, Duitsland, gelegen aan de bovenloop van de Rijn, ongeveer 60 km ten zuiden van Frankfurt am Main. Het had in 2015 ongeveer 82.000 inwoners.
Een pre-Romeinse stichting, Worms is een van de oudste steden in Noord-Europa. Het was de hoofdstad van het Koninkrijk der Bourgondiërs in de vroege vijfde eeuw, daarom is het het toneel van de middeleeuwse legendes die naar deze periode verwijzen, met name het eerste deel van de Nibelungenlied.
