Boltenhagen is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren, en maakt deel uit van de Landkreis Nordwestmecklenburg.
Boltenhagen telt 2.464 inwoners.
Boltenhagen werd in 1325 voor het eerst als Longa Indago genoemd en vervolgens in 1336 als Boltenhagen. De plaats was honderden jaren een boeren- en vissersdorp. De geschiedenis als badplaats begon in 1803.
