Het Forum Wiedenest e. V. is een christelijk-evangelikaal werk met drie werkgebieden: Wereldwijd zendingswerk, Bijbels-Theologische Academie en Jeugd- en Gemeenteforum. Het werkt vooral samen met broedergemeenten en baptisten.
De Bijbels-Theologische Academie werd in 1905 in Berlijn-Steglitz opgericht als "Allianz-Bijbelschool" onder andere om christenen uit Rusland en Oost-Europa een theologische opleiding te bieden. Deze christenen waren eerder baptistisch gedoopt en waren daarom uit de Bijbelschool van de door Johannes Lepsius geleide Duitse Oriënt-Missie in Berlijn verwijderd. Tegelijkertijd waren er vanuit het Bad Blankenburger Allianzwerk al sinds 1904 pogingen gedaan om een Allianz-Broederhuis op te richten.
