Karmann was een Duitse carrosseriebouwer gevestigd in Osnabrück. Het bedrijf is vooral bekend geworden door de Karmann Ghia, een tweedeurs sportwagen op de bodemplaat van de Volkswagen Kever. Het had in 2008 circa 8.000 werknemers in dienst, waarvan 3.400 in Duitsland. In april 2009 vroeg het bedrijf surseance van betaling aan. Eind 2009 nam Volkswagen de hoofdvestiging in Osnabrück over en bracht deze onder in Volkswagen Osnabrück GmbH.
