Hunnesrück is een dorp dat deel uitmaakt van de stad Dassel in de Landkreis Northeim in Niedersachsen. Bij Hunnesrück hoort ook de nederzetting Erichsburg.
Hunnesrück is de meest westelijke plaats in het Einbeck-Markoldendorfer Bekken. Het door de Bremkebach doorstroomde dorp ligt aan de oostelijke rand van de Amtsberge in een landbouwmatig gevormde omgeving. Daar loopt ook de Europaradweg R1.
