Keurvorst aartsbisschop Clemens August von Köln bouwde ooit een jachtkapel voor de Prins-bisschoppen van Keulen op dit plein. Ze dienen ze voor uitgebreide liturgische doeleinden tijdens uitgebreide jachten. Vandaag is er nog maar één gedenksteen over. Om niet te vergeten, werd in 2004 een nieuwe kapel bij haar gebouwd. een kleine laan met eenjarige bomen leidt naar het plein.
Wandelaars die een paar minuten in de kapel moeten doorbrengen, kunnen daar kaarsen aansteken voor een kleine gift.
