Vertrekken en parkeren in het dorpje Reine. Bijna geen asfalt (een paar honderd meter in Reine). Een stuk open veld maar het overgrote deel bos, met brede boswegen. Een stuk bos wordt "ecologisch" beheerd en daardoor zou er gevaar zijn voor vallende takken en omvallende bomen bij sterke wind.
