Hier is een uitkijktoren gebouwd, vanwaar men uitzicht heeft over de Bergen, de stad Hjørring en de Noordzee. Vanuit de toren is er een fantastisch uitzicht over het landschap. Smidths Plantage ligt als onaangetaste bos. Er zijn parkeerplaatsen en banken en tafels op de plek.
