Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is een gemeente in het Franse departement Somme en telt 2686 inwoners . De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Abbeville en ligt aan de Spoorlijn van de Sommebaai. De gemeente bestaat uit een modernere benedenstad, gericht op toerisme en een oudere bovenstad.Nog voor de Romeinen Gallië bezetten, was er op de locatie van het huidige Saint-Valery-sur-Somme een kleine Gallische nederzetting. In de Romeinse periode groeide deze uit tot een dorp.
