In tegenstelling tot veel andere valleien presenteren de Pyreneeën zich in de Cerdagne als een open gebergte. Het is een zonovergoten streek die vrij uitzicht biedt op de omliggende toppen. De Petit Train Jaune, bijgenaamd le Canari, rijdt er al bijna een eeuw lang dwars doorheen. Het ultieme boemeltreintje is niet alleen een van de symbolen van de Catalaanse Pyreneeën, maar ook een ontspannen manier om kennis te maken met dit mooie gebied.
