Compiègne is een stad in Frankrijk, gelegen op 80 kilometer ten noordoosten van Parijs, op het punt waar de rivieren de Aisne en de Oise bij elkaar komen. Compiègne ligt in het departement Oise en is daarvan een onderprefectuur. Het is bekend door een kasteel, en door het uitgestrekte bos “Forêt de Compiègne”. In de gemeente ligt spoorwegstation Compiègne. De gemeente telde 40.615 inwoners op 1 januari 2019.
