De Puig Neulos is het hoogste punt van het Albères-massief. Het hoogtepunt ligt op 1256 m en markeert de grens tussen Frankrijk en Spanje. Vanaf deze hoogte kan men duidelijk de aan zee grenzende vlakte van de Roussillon zien, de Pyreneeënketen in het westen en de vlakte van Ampurdan waar de rotsachtige kustlijn zachtjes overgaat in de baai van Rosas.
