Rond 1905 begon de sport zijn intrede te doen in Frankrijk. Er werd een golfbaan aangelegd in het kuurpark van Vittel, samen met de eerste petanquespelen, bekend als "Jeu du Cochonnet".
Al in 1922 legde de Société des Eaux prachtige speelvelden aan in een boulodrome in de buurt van de Roseraie, wat de bewondering oogstte van Franse, Zwitserse en Italiaanse boulistes.
Elk jaar in de zomer brengen 2 verenigingen het boulodrome van Vittel tot leven door jeu de boules en boules lyonnaise wedstrijden te organiseren. De boulodrome is vrij toegankelijk in het park voor liefhebbers van een dag of altijd!
De boulodrome in het kuurpark is toegankelijk voor dagjesmensen, toeristen, vakantiegangers en kuurgangers die met vrienden of familie willen spelen.
