Deze route start aan de parking van de Grand Ballon. Met zijn 1424m is het is de hoogste berg van de Vogezen. Vanop de berg krijg je een prachtig uitzicht over het natuurpark. De route daalt langs het Lac du Ballon. Verder afdalen gebeurt langs de Seebach. Onderweg zie je de mooie watervallen van de Seebach. Hierna loopt de route terug naar het startpunt. Ze heeft een totale lengte van 14.2km.
