Dedham Vale is een aangewezen Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty op de grens van Essex-Suffolk in Oost-Engeland. Het omvat het gebied rond de rivier de Stour tussen Manningtree en Smallbridge Farm, 1,6 km ten oosten van Bures, inclusief het dorp Dedham in Essex.
Het maakt deel uit van het gebied dat bekend staat als Constable Country, omdat het beroemd werd gemaakt door de schilderijen van de Engelse romantische schilder John Constable. Onder vele andere werken van het gebied zijn zijn Dedham Vale-schilderijen uit 1802 en 1828, gehouden in het Victoria and Albert Museum in Londen en de Scottish National Gallery in Edinburgh. [1] [2]
