Drei Zinnen: de beroemdste drietand
De drie tanden vormen het waarmerk van de Dolomieten, maar uitsluitend bekeken vanuit het noorden. Als u na 20 minuten wandelen vanaf de Auronzohut (eind van de tolweg) de oostzijde passeert en voor het eerst de wolkenkrabberachtige noordfacades ziet, begint de fascinatie. En die laat u niet meer los. Het brede pad naar de Drei Zinnen Hütte is druk. Rustiger en iets korter is het smallere pad iets hogerop. De hut levert voor schappelijke prijzen enorme maaltijdporties en heerlijk Beiers witbier. Daarna kunt u dezelfde weg terug lopen of het rondje om de Zinnen voltooien. De complete cirkel duurt 3,5 uur.
