Torre Campatellis is gelegen aan de Via San Giovanni 15 in San Gimignano.
Deze 13e-eeuwse toren, ingeklemd tussen 18e-eeuwse herenhuizen, is de enige in de stad die zijn originele indeling en uitgeholde interieur heeft weten te bewaren.
Het beste van allemaal is de indrukwekkende audiovisuele presentatie, de Duizend Jaar San Gimignano, dat de geschiedenis van de stad schetst (gepresenteerd in het Engels en Italiaans). De presentatie onthult hoe de middeleeuwse wolkenkrabbers het civiliserende effect van het stedelijke leven betekende, met de signori (feudale heren) die werden aangemoedigd om hun kastelen op te geven voor het stadse leven.
