Description by the author

Deze wandeling vertrekt en eindigt aan het station van Michelau. In Luxemburg is het trein- en busverkeer gratis en Michelau is gemakkelijk te bereiken. Minstens elk uur doet een trein het dorp aan.

We wandelen deze keer niet van station tot station, maar maken een rondje in de omgeving tussen Michelau, Wellsheid en Bouscheid. We passeren net naast het bekende kasteel van Bourscheid.

De wandeling is in het begin vrij stevig: we klimmen uit het beboste dal van de Sûre en moeten in Wellscheid stevig naar de boven klimmen om een tijdlang op het plateau te genieten van wijdse panorama's. Na Bourscheid dalen we opnieuw naar het dal, door bos en langs brede paden.

Horeca is in deze kleine dorpen niet te vinden.
