In het duingebied tussen Breskens en Cadzand zijn vier prachtige recreatiepunten aangelegd. Alle vier zijn ze qua inrichting gelinkt aan de daar geldende kustthema’s:
stijlvol – Cadzand
familiair – Nieuwvliet-Bad
cultureel – Groede
maritiem – Breskens
Door de verhoogde ligging is de Hotspot 'cultureel' ter hoogte van Groede, al snel in het oog springend. Ook de futuristische overkapping prikkelt de nieuwsgierigheid over wat daar te doen zal zijn.
Het openluchttheater is voor meerdere doeleinden te gebruiken. Het is een ideale overdekte stopplek voor fietsers, maar ook een prachtig uitzichtpunt naar zowel de land als zeezijde. De culturele sfeer komt tot uitdrukking in de vlondervloer van het theater waar een gedicht van Jacob Cats is opgenomen. Jacob Cats was een beroemd dichter die een buitenhuis had in Groede.
