Lourdesgrotten vervulden een grote rol bij kloosters en ontbreken in vrijwel geen enkele kloostertuin.
En dus ook niet bij Het Withof. Bij de grot staan nog enkele bomen; het restant van de bosschage waarin de grot zich vroeger bevond.
De Lourdesgrot is gebouwd in 1902 en nog steeds te bezoeken.
Ter plaatse een kaarsje aansteken
Regelmatig komen bezoekers van Het Withofterrein een kaarsje branden in de Lourdesgrot. Iedereen is hiervoor van harte welkom.
