Vanaf het startpunt, het Old Hickoryplein, lopen we naar de gezellige Markt. Lopende langs het oude stadhuis richting het Discovery museum. Achter het spoorwegstationnetje van het Miljoenenlijntje over het goed aangelegde Parkstad fiets-, wandel- en ruiterpad tot aan de brug over de Buitenring. Over het voormalige terrein van de Willem Sophia mijn in Spekholzerheide het nieuwe wandel- en fietspad dat de verbinding is tussen het Miljoenenlijntje en het Parkstad Pad. Over het Wauwelpad keren we terug maar gaan nu naar de Groene Vallei in het bekendal om vervolgens terug te keren naar het vertrekpunt.
