Avennes er en landsby i den belgiske provins Liège og en delkommune i kommunen Braives. Det var en selvstændig kommune, indtil det i fusionen i 1977 blev tilføjet kommunen Braives.
Avennes ligger i den vestlige del af kommunen Braives. Den gamle romerske hovedvej fra Tongeren til Bavay, den nuværende N69, udgør nordgrænsen for delkommunen. Mehaigne strømmer gennem landsbyen. Avennes er en landbrugslandsby i Droog-Haspengouw med især kornproduktion.
