Laigueglia è un piccolo borgo di mare, simile a molti paesi della Liguria, circondato dai comuni di Alassio e Andora e dal mar Ligure ad est. Esso si estende sulla costa della Riviera Ligure di Ponente, presso la baia del Sole, delimitata tra Capo Santa Croce e Capo Mele. Per la superficie territoriale - 2,72 km2 - è l'ente comunale più piccolo della provincia savonese.
