Byen i Viosne-dalen, i det franske Vexin, grænser Chars op til Bellay-en-Vexin og Nucourt mod vest, Bouconvillers og Lavilletertre mod nord, Neuilly-en-Vexin og Marines mod øst samt Brignancourt og Moussy mod syd.
