Eglise Saint-Andre - Winamplanche

In 1710, the residents of Winamplanche received permission to build a chapel .

Construction ends in 1714, but it will not be inaugurated until 1729. She took up part of the rectory's current garden. The parish of Winamplanche was founded in July 1842 . It includes Winamplanche, Marteau, Haftay, Vieux Pré and Sur le Thier. It depends on 3 municipalities: La Reid, Spa and Theux.

As soon as he arrived in his new parish in 1843, Pastor Chevolet realized how dilapidated the original chapel was . He will then make every effort to secure a new property.
