Der Tempel der Hera, oder Heraion, ist ein antiker archaischer griechischer Tempel in Olympia, Griechenland, der Hera, der Königin der griechischen Götter, gewidmet ist. Es war der älteste Tempel in Olympia und einer der ehrwürdigsten in ganz Griechenland. Ursprünglich war es ein gemeinsamer Tempel von Hera und Zeus, dem Hauptgott, bis ein separater Tempel für ihn erbaut wurde. Es ist am Altar dieses Tempels, der ost-westlich ausgerichtet ist, dass die Olympische Flamme entzündet und in alle Teile der Welt getragen wird. Die Fackel der Olympischen Flamme wird bis heute in seinen Ruinen entzündet. Der Tempel wurde ungefähr 590 v. Chr. erbaut, aber im frühen 4. Jahrhundert n. Chr. durch ein Erdbeben zerstört.
