The St. Agnes Institute in the Bonn district of Castell was an educational institution for girls in the 20th century. The building, completed in 1904, located at Graurheindorfer Straße 151/151a, is listed as a historical monument. Since 2011, it has housed a senior home run by the Bonn care organization.
At the end of the 19th century, an Agnes Association was founded in Bonn, with the goal of establishing an educational and household institution to provide protection and help to "morally endangered female individuals." The association sought members and donations and organized garden parties from 1899 onwards to raise funds. In 1902, a plot of land could be acquired on what was then Rheindorfer Straße. By 1904, the construction of the institution building was completed, and the association was transformed into a foundation led by religious sisters from the congregation of the Sisters of Christian Charity based in Paderborn.
