Sprakensehl er den nordligste kommune i Landkreis Gifhorn i Niedersachsen. Kommunen Sprakensehl er en medlemskommune i Samtgemeinde Hankensbüttel.
Kommunen Sprakensehl ligger på vandskellet mellem Elbes vandløbssystem og Wesers vandløbssystem: To kilometer vest for delområdet Bokel udspringer Stederau, den østlige kildeflod til Ilmenau, som flyder gennem Lüneburg og munder ud i Elben ved Hoopte, overfor de Hamborgske Vierlande. Vest for delområdet Blickwedel udspringer bækken Schmalwasser, hvis vand løber til Aller og derfra til Weser.
