A Villers-La-Ville si trova l'"Abbaye Notre-Dame De Villers". Queste sono le rovine di quello che un tempo è stata un'abbazia cistercense. Nel profondo della valle del Thyle, che qui ha scavato un paesaggio quasi ardennese, si trovano i resti da ammirare.
L'abbazia fu fondata nel 1146 da San Bernardo, poi canonizzato, ed è diventata nel corso degli anni una delle abbazie più uniche di tutta l'Europa occidentale. La rovina occupa oltre 15 ettari e il birrificio del XIII secolo è uno degli edifici monastici più impressionanti del Belgio.
