🔥 The Thick Calves Route – Do you dare to take on the challenge? 💪

On Sunday, May 18, 2025 it’s time… a ride that has certainly earned its name. The Thick Calves Route promises to be a journey for the true perseverers, with surprising roads, sharp turns, and challenging kilometers through Hageland, Antwerp, Limburg, and the Low Campines.

What awaits us? That’s for you to discover. One thing is certain: this 122 km long ride will not be forgotten quickly. Do you dare to take it on? 😏

I have planned 3 stops... :

- 40 km 1st stop at the Vlooybergtoren in Tielt-Winge (15-20 min.) = DRY STOP !!! (with a bit of luck, there will be an ice cream cart with lots of treats during the summer months)
- 60 km 2nd stop in Rillaar at café Gemeentehuis = left at a crossroad (about 45 min.)
- 100 km 3rd stop in Aarschot at café Den Draad = left at the market (about 45 min.)
