Den Niederrheiniske Bugt er et geologisk sænkningområde i den vestlige del af Tyskland. Dens dannelse begyndte for cirka 30 millioner år siden. I dens centrum har mere end 1000 m sedimenter samlet sig siden da. Den geologiske struktur i Niederrheiniske Bugt ligger mellem byerne Aachen, Roermond, Wesel og Bonn og omfatter de to naturgeografiske enheder Niederrheiniske Bugt og Niederrheinisk Lavland. Af stor økonomisk betydning er især de mægtige brunkul, der udvindes i omfattende dagebrydninger, og den i dag stort set ophørte kulminedrift.
