Loop walk of 18.5 km starting from Hoegaarden, which uses various local walking paths and GR paths. Largely unpaved along quiet country roads, through forest trails, cobblestone stretches, and sunken roads. It goes through the nature reserve Rosdel, flirts briefly with the language border near L'Ecluse, and traverses the beautiful nature area in Meldertbos. A break at Café Odette in Meldert Centrum is definitely recommended. The route partially coincides with the Mene-/Jordaan walk, the GR 128, and the Regional-GR Hageland. At the Marollenkapel, there is a panoramic view of the entire surrounding area before descending to Hoegaarden. Don’t forget to take a detour to the famous Gardens of Hoegaarden (entrance next to 't Kapittelhuys).
