Overijse Reutenbeek Tombeek walk (RCOZ)

Theme: From the centre of the Overijse to the successful Zuidflank project to the Reutenbeek Nature Reserve. Then via Tombeek and the plateau in the direction of Overijse. This walk is a real calf bite with many slopes. In Tombeek we descend to 52 meters, then go back up to 97 meters. Very varied and definitely worth it. But a good condition is necessary. Duration: 2.5 hours.

This is a walk designed or adapted by the Rotary Club Overijse-Zoniën (RCOZ) as part of the action "Walking and cycling for more greenery and nature in the Druivenstreek". This promotion runs from 21 March 2021 to 5 June 2021 (World Environment Day). The aim of the action is above all to reflect on the importance of greenery and nature in the Druivenstreek and to raise awareness about it. A shorter route is to continue straight on the Borrestraat until exit 302, then left into the Hertstraat and at the end of the Terhulpensesteenweg turn right. Then 200 meters further take the path on the left and at the end of the path on the right return to the starting point. The shortest route is +/- 4.5 km.
